The Hannover factory is the home of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand, so you can get up-close to the exciting production of Transporter and Multivan models. The sturdy Amarok pickup is also built here.
There is a real buzz here. Covering 2.8 million square metres, this Volkswagen factory is one of the biggest engine factories in the world. The power units are used in various different models and brands – from the up! and the Touareg, to the Porsche Cayenne and Bugatti vehicles.
Osnabrück has been a car city for over 100 years. The Volkswagen factory covers the entire automotive process chain – from the first sketch to the finished vehicle. Tip: Visit the Volkswagen Osnabrück car collection afterwards!
At the Zwickau vehicle factory, you can observe the classic production areas of pressing, bodywork and final vehicle assembly. Each day, up to 1,350 Volkswagen bodies (including Golf and Passat Estate models) and 90 luxury (Bentley) bodies are built here.
