Arriving by car:

Take the Hannover-Berlin Autobahn A2 to the Wolfsburg/Königslutter junction and then follow the signs on the A39 to the Wolfsburg West exit. Follow the signposts to the Autostadt.

Arriving by train:

Wolfsburg station is just a few minutes away from the Autostadt by foot.

The Guest Relations Privacy Policy

You can take part in a FactoryTour Compact on production days from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The FactoryTour Compact is not available at weekends, on public holidays, on days between public holidays and a weekend or during internal factory meetings.

Guest Relations reserves the right to change the itinerary and cancel the FactoryTour Compact for operational reasons at short notice.

No liability will be accepted for any loss incurred as a result of this.

Please allow approx. 60 minutes for a FactoryTour Compact, including the shuttle service between the Autostadt and the factory site.

On our tours, we visit various production subdivisions. The FactoryTour Compact is sometimes combined with a walking tour, which involves several stairs. Sturdy footwear is recommended.

You can obtain detailed information about the tour content and what will happen at the Welcome Desk of the Autostadt each day.

The FactoryTour Compact is available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Arabic on request.

We kindly ask for your understanding that the minimum age for the FactoryTour Compact is 10 years for safety reasons.

We have wheelchair-accessible visitor transport trains. However, there are sometimes steps on the factory site. Please tell us about any mobility restrictions when you book. Please contact the staff at the Autostadt Welcome Desk to find out the start times and for further information.

Filming and photography is strictly prohibited on the entire factory site. Audio recordings are also prohibited.

Eating and drinking is not permitted during tours.

Animals are not permitted on the tours.
